Olin Melton

Lead Vocal / Electric Guitar







Olin started his career in Austin, Texas in 1978 playing with the Sundance band. He is an accomplished musician and recording artist. Olin continues to be part of the Texas music scene and has performed with artists including John Anderson, Willie Nelson, Steve Wariner, Rick Trevino, George Strait's Ace in the Hole band, and a host of central Texas legends.

Olin uses extraordinary finger picking techniques and chord progressions to amaze any of the finest pickers. He has a phenomenal vocal range and was awarded the Florida Country Music Male Vocalist of the year in 1994. Through the late 1990s, Olin toured Japan opening for major artists including Shenandoah and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and performed at the 1997 Japanese Steel Convention. In 1998, Olin was honored with the Japanese Cultural Exchange Award of the Japanese Country Music Association for his dedicated work in the music industry. His musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson, and Brent Mason.

Olin Melton was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite his many travels, he has settled in the Texas hill country near Austin with his wife Bobbie. Their beautiful daughter Kendra currently attends Ringling School of Art and Design.



Teddy Trevino

Lead Vocal / Acoustic Guitar





Teddy Trevino learned to sing and play guitar at age 9. His first performance was at church where he sang and played regularly with his sister Margaret. Teddy landed his first paying gig while attending college in San Marcos, Texas. He performed a solo act for many years playing at hotels, restaurants, clubs, and parties. Currently, Teddy sings and plays guitar for St. Paul's Church Choir and for MindSpin, a trio that performs a variety of music.

Teddy's acoustic playing and finger picking abilities are extraordinarily refined. His smooth and dynamic vocals allow him to sing a variety of music styles for which he has received numerous awards. Teddy has been a finalist in several vocal competitions and was a finalist in the Lonestar 93.3 and Y100 radio station talent search contests. Teddy has shared the stage with Rob Crosby, Diamond Rio, Ronnie Milsap and many Texas Artists. His musical influences include Steve Wariner, James Taylor, Garth Brooks, Ty England, Don McLean, and The Eagles.

Teddy grew up in San Antonio and now lives in Austin with his wife Deborah, and three children, Beau, Zachary, and Sarah.



Tony Arnold

Keyboards / Vocals





Born in San Antonio, Texas, Tony Arnold is a central Texas native. Growing up in a musical family, there was always music in the air. Tony's musical journey started early in life with piano lessons in the second grade. He began performing at the age of 15 with a group of high school friends. Following the musical influences of Chicago and Blood, Sweat and Tears, this passion for music soon grew into a seven piece band, JR Brass, with Tony playing keyboard at the Lake Conroe Resorts.

Following college, Tony moved to Austin in 1979 and soon joined the Bootstrap band. As a keyboard player, he has performed in a number of the Austin area venues, including the original Lumberyard and Silver Dollar North dance halls. While with the Bootstrap band he opened for various acts through the years, including Eddie Raven, Gene Watson, Johnny Paycheck and Charly McClain.

Tony brings these years of keyboard experience to the stage with passion and excitement. His background wth brass, strings and organ enhance the music and add variety to the message. Following his travels through Central Texas, Tony settled into a country home in Taylor, Texas, with his wife and a menagerie of animals, as his musical journey continues...



Gilbert (Gil) DeLosSantos

Drums / Vocals







Gilbert De Los Santos was born in Victoria, Texas. He started his professional career at the age of 13 performing at a Holiday Inn with Dale McBride. After graduating from high school, Gilbert attended college in Victoria and began playing with several Texas bands, including WheatStraw and SouthernWind. He performed at various venues including The Golden Stallion, Randyıs Rodeo, The Farmerıs Daughter, and the Chisholm Pub.

Gilbert is a great percussionist and uses an array of drums, chimes, and other percussion instruments. His dynamic style creates a full sound that has everyone grooving to the music. In the 1970s, Gilbert played with Rotel and The Hot Tomatoes, Steve Douglas, AC Gonzales, Texas Fever, Bert Rivera, Jimmy Day, and Don Walser. He had the privilege to play at WolfTrap, Milwaukeeıs Summerfest, Taste of Chicago, and has toured in Switzerland. Gilbert has performed with many legendary talents including Willie Nelson, Janie Fricke, Eddy Raven, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton. Gilbertıs influences include Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, and mentor Earnie Durawa.

Gilbert currently resides in North Austin.

Martha Parker

Vocals



Martha began her musical career in middle school and played drums, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. She started piano lessons at age 10 and learned to read and play classical music. Martha sang and played organ and piano in the church choir. She enjoyed playing the Pipe organ in church and always loved the sound of the bass notes. Martha enjoyed singing duets with her sister and entertaining guests who visited their home.

Martha started singing backup vocals with the Bootstrap band in 2004. Her inspirational influences are Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Rascal Flats, Lonestar, Diamond Rio, and Alabama. Martha loves all types of music, especially songs with great harmonies and a meaningful message.

Martha grew up in the small town of Smithville and moved to the big city (Austin) in 1991. She has now settled in Manor, Texas.

 

 

 

 



Magda Acuña

Vocals





Magdalena Acuña (Magda): Though new to the professional stage, music has been a major inspiration her entire life. Coming from a musically talented family, kitchen duties with her 5 sisters and 1 brother included stacking harmonies. Her musical path began at age 5 with piano lessons. Through her school years, she continued to nurture her talents, performing in a variety of musicals and concert choir performances. Currently, Magda sings and plays keyboards for St. Paul's Church Choir and for MindSpin, a trio that performs a variety of music.

Magda, from Boulder, Colorado, currently resides in South Austin with her husband David, daughter Sophia, son Nicodemo, dogs Cleo and Dash, cat Sheba, and Moose, a teddy bear hamster.
